2013-2016 I studied English as a Foreign Language Teaching Profession at the UNAM High School. At the moment I'm doing a bachelors degree in German as a Foreign Language Teachin at UNAM.

About the lesson

I come from Germany, Schwäbisch Hall, but I live in Mexico City, where I've been teaching German as a foreign and second language for 6 years. I teach to all age groups, have pupils who are still in kindergarten, as well as teenagers, students and adults with a wide variety of language goals and careers. I teach you through a communicative method that makes speaking easy. Every day we have a learning goal that we will have achieved by the end of the class. We learn some vocabulary and grammar, practice this with learning posters, questions and answers, practice reading and listening comprehension, solve tasks to practice word order, grammar, expressions and vocabulary, and at the end we talk or play a role-play on the topic we have learned. After a few units (the number is slightly different for each textbook) we do a repetition to make sure that everything has been learned correctly. We take a mock examination after which we have a whole language level behind us, which corresponds to the ÖSD certificate (nevertheless the examination is only a sample with which we can estimate whether the student can pass the official examination).
