About Ramesh
I am Dr. P. Ramesh, a Ph.D. holder in Electrical Engineering with more than 23 years of experience in teaching, research, and academic administration. I have taught engineering students in reputed institutions and have handled a wide range of subjects in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
My areas of teaching expertise include Electrical Engineering, Electrical Machines, Power Electronics and Drives, Electrical Drives and Control, Electric Vehicles, Renewable Energy, IoT, Python, and Introduction to Electrical Engineering. I also guide students in engineering projects, research activities, and technical problem-solving.
My teaching approach is concept-oriented, practical, and student-focused. I explain fundamental concepts step by step and connect theoretical knowledge with real-world engineering applications. My objective is not only to help students score well in examinations but also to develop their technical understanding, problem-solving ability, and confidence.
I have published 34 research papers, including 31 Scopus-indexed publications, and have experience in Electric Vehicles, Power Electronics, Electrical Machines, Renewable Energy, IoT, and emerging engineering technologies. I have also been involved in student project mentoring, industry interaction, workshops, seminars, and research activities.

Complex engineering concepts are divided into smaller, manageable parts. I use diagrams, mathematical explanations, practical examples, and problem-solving techniques wherever appropriate.
3. Numerical and Problem Solving
For subjects such as Electrical Machines, Power Electronics, Drives, and Electrical Engineering, I work through problems step by step and explain the reasoning behind each solution rather than focusing only on the final answer.
4. Practical Engineering Applications
I connect classroom concepts with real-world applications, particularly in areas such as Electric Vehicles, Power Electronics, Renewable Energy, Electrical Machines, IoT, and Engineering Systems.
