About Pavlina
As an award-winning Interior Designer with over 18 years of industry experience and more than 12 years of teaching and mentoring, I bring both professional expertise and a passion for education to every lesson.
A graduate of Edinburgh College of Art, I have built a successful career creating innovative and inspiring interior spaces while helping the next generation of designers develop their skills and confidence. I enjoy supporting students at all levels, from beginners exploring their creativity to university students and aspiring professionals seeking guidance on projects, portfolios and career development.
My teaching approach is tailored to each student's goals, combining creative thinking, technical knowledge and real-world industry insight to help them achieve their full potential.

With over 12 years of teaching experience and 18 years working within the interior design industry, I offer lessons that combine creative development with practical, real-world knowledge.
Every lesson is tailored to the individual student's goals, experience level and learning style. Whether you are a complete beginner, a university student, or an aspiring professional, I will create a structured learning plan to help you build confidence and develop your skills.
My teaching covers all aspects of interior design, including design principles, space planning, colour theory, concept development, technical drawing, presentation techniques, portfolio preparation and professional practice. I can also provide guidance on university projects, portfolio reviews and career development within the design industry.
Lessons are engaging, supportive and hands-on, with a strong focus on developing both creative thinking and practical skills. Drawing on my extensive industry experience, I share real project examples and professional insights to help students understand how interior design works in practice, not just in theory.
I aim to inspire, challenge and support every student, helping them develop the knowledge, confidence and creativity needed to achieve their personal, academic or professional goals.
