About Poppy
I have been teaching French for over 4 years, and I hold a Master of Arts in French Linguistics in International Studies. My background allows me to bring not only language expertise but also a deep awareness of global cultures into every lesson. I believe French is more than a subject—it’s a gateway to understanding the world from multiple perspectives. In my teaching, I combine solid language foundations with opportunities to explore real-world contexts. I often incorporate current events, intercultural dialogues, and media from Francophone countries, helping students see how the language is alive and constantly evolving. From news articles to films, podcasts, and music, I use diverse resources to make lessons engaging and relevant. I have worked with students and professionals from across the globe who aim to strengthen their French for academic, personal, or career goals. My teaching approach in French is centred on making the language feel natural, enjoyable, and easy to use in everyday life.
