About Salil
Cinema has been my passion for over 15 years. I'm a filmmaking graduate of the internationally renowned London Film School and a professional writer-director with experience in screenplay development, directing actors, casting, and independent film production. My work includes writing and directing and producing several award-winning short films and commercials and music videos. My experience has taught me that great filmmaking is about compelling storytelling, not expensive equipment. Whether you're a complete beginner, a film student, or an aspiring filmmaker, I'll help you understand screenwriting, directing, visual storytelling, and film production through practical, personalized lessons. My goal is to help you develop the confidence and skills to tell your own stories on screen.

Along with personalized one-on-one lessons, I provide carefully curated study material at no additional cost, including recommended reading on screenwriting, film direction, cinematography, and film production. I also recommend films for analysis and discussion and will guide students on how to access them whenever possible. My aim is to ensure that students have all the resources they need to continue learning and practicing between lessons, without having to spend extra on study materials.
