About Zohra

Hi, I'm Zohra! English is my first language, and teaching it is something I'm genuinely passionate about. Over the past 5+ years, I've worked with students from all kinds of backgrounds — many of whom started out unable to speak or write in English at all — and there's nothing more rewarding than watching that confidence build lesson by lesson.

Outside of teaching English, I also speak Russian and Urdu/Hindi fluently, which has given me a real appreciation for what it's like to learn a language from the ground up, and a knack for explaining tricky concepts in a way that actually clicks. I believe learning should feel encouraging, not intimidating, so I focus on creating a relaxed, supportive space where you can make mistakes, ask questions, and actually enjoy the process.

When I'm not teaching English, I'm usually at the piano — I've taught piano to many students in the past and still love playing myself. I'm also an avid reader, so if you're ever looking for a good novel recommendation, I've got plenty! Both of these often find their way into my lessons, since real conversations about music or books make for some of the best practice.

About the lesson

My English lessons are built around you — your goals, your current level, and the pace that works best for you. As a native English speaker, I bring natural, fluent language into every lesson, so you're learning authentic English from day one rather than textbook phrases alone.

I have over 5 years of experience teaching students who started with little to no English, including complete beginners who couldn't yet speak or write in the language. I've helped many of them build real confidence step by step, and I've guided numerous students through exams successfully, so if you're preparing for a specific test, I can help you get exam-ready with focused, structured practice.

All my lessons are conducted online, so you can join from anywhere, at a time that fits your schedule, with no commute needed. Sessions combine practical conversation, grammar, and writing, always adapted to what you personally need — whether that's everyday speaking confidence, workplace English, or exam success. I also speak Russian and Urdu/Hindi fluently, which means if either is your first language, we'll have a shared language to fall back on early in your learning journey. This often makes explanations clearer and progress faster, especially in the beginning stages.

Every lesson is designed to be encouraging and genuinely useful, so you leave each session having actually moved forward, not just filled time.
