Hi, I’m Teacher Victoria from South Africa! I hold a 120‑hour TEFL certificate and am completing my Level 5 Diploma, with over a year of experience teaching little learners. About My Lessons I design each lesson around playful, hands‑on activities that get little learners up and moving, singing, and laughing. We might start with a quick “hello” song, then dive into a colorful flashcard game for new words—think animals leaping across the screen or toy cars racing as we practice “go,” “stop,” and “fast.” Every activity has a clear goal, so you’ll notice your child using new words in real conversations by the end of class. What makes me different? I blend Total Physical Response (where we act out language together) with story‑based learning (puppets, picture books, or even a quick craft). I’ve seen shy beginners bloom—like little May, who went from whispering “cat” to proudly telling me “The black cat runs fast!” in just a few weeks. I tailor every lesson to your child’s interests and pace, whether they love dinosaurs, princesses, or outer space. I teach in English, and I’m also comfortable explaining tricky points in basic Afrikaans if your child needs a little extra support. In each 25‑ or 50‑minute session, you can expect: • A warm welcome and “icebreaker” activity • Two or three themed games or songs that introduce and recycle new vocabulary • Gentle correction and encouragement to build confidence • A simple follow‑up task (draw, label, or sing a rhyme) to reinforce learning at home My lessons are perfect for pre‑readers and early readers (ages 2–8) who are starting with phonics and basic vocabulary, as well as beginner primary students (ages 7–10) ready to practice short sentences, questions, and fun dialogues.
