About Icaro
Born in a small Brazilian town, I always aspired to do great things and ascend in life. By eleven, I started collecting medals in academic olympiads (Math, Physics, Chemistry, General Sciences, Robotics, Astronomy...).
As a consequence, I won full-ride scholarships at some of the best high-school institutions in my country and engaged in international competitions, not only in fields of science but also in entrepreneurship. Moving forth, I was awarded a full-ride scholarship at Columbia University and now I keep honing my skills.

I have considerable expertise with economics and entrepreneurship, having won a gold medal at the International Economics Olympiad and being a finalist at Microsoft ImagineCup Americas.
For that, I had to learn a lot by myself so I know where the bumps on this road are. I try to make my lessons engaging and inspiring, keeping them in line with real-life experiences. I taught economics for bigger classes before and I got the knack of helping my students follow the track - even more when it's their first time studying economics.
I can also offer college application tutoring if we have extra time after we're done with a lesson's main topic.
