About Shruthi Hotkar

I am currently pursuing an MSc in Financial Economics at the University of Birmingham and have a strong academic background in Economics, Finance, and Commerce. I enjoy teaching because I believe economics becomes interesting and intuitive when concepts are explained clearly and linked to real-life examples. My goal is to help students overcome fear of the subject, build strong fundamentals, and gain confidence in exams and assignments. I focus on interactive learning, step-by-step explanations, and adapting lessons to each student’s needs.

About the lesson

My lessons are tailored to each student’s academic level and learning pace, with a strong focus on building conceptual clarity in Economics and Finance. As an MSc Financial Economics student at the University of Birmingham, I combine theory with real-world examples, exam-oriented problem solving, and clear explanations of complex models. I cover microeconomics, macroeconomics, finance, and commerce, helping students with coursework, exams, and assignments while encouraging analytical thinking and confidence in the subject.
