About Sakshi
Im a girl whose first love is dance. Started training in one of Indian classical dance forms bharatnatyam in school time. In college years I got trained in the western dance forms like Jazz and Contemporary. Later I started my training in another Indian classical dance form called Kathak. Bollywood and freestyle continues to be my forte and all time favourite.
With an experience of more than 13 years, ive had various national and international stage performances, like representing India in Scotland, Dubai, Seychelles, Saudi Arabia, Egypt to name a few. Ive had opportunities to with some of the known Bollywood stare and choreographers like Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Alia Bhatt, Diljit Dosanjh, Bosco, Terence Lewis and many more.
Ive been giving dance classes and workshopsfor family functions and corporate events for a long time now.

Being in the Dance Industry professionally for more than 13 years has given me a deep understanding of not only performing ( stage or otherwise ) but also about the art of teaching for different dance styles to different individuals, child or adult.
My methodology for teaching a student has subsequent steps -
* Understanding the level of the student’s body. For a non-dancer with a stiff body, some time of the class is dedicated for body opening and flexibility along with developing a sense of rhythm and music beats.
* Breaking down steps to more easy movements to improve the memory and flow.
