About Cinthia
Olá! I am a native Brazilian Portuguese speaker with over 15 years of experience in language education, translation, and interpretation. I hold a B.A. in English–Portuguese Translation and an M.A. in Literature and Literary Criticism, giving me a strong academic and professional foundation in language and communication.
As an experienced teacher and language professional, I create personalized lessons that help students build confidence and develop practical Portuguese skills in a supportive and engaging environment.

I offer personalized Brazilian Portuguese lessons for beginners, intermediate, and advanced students. Classes are adapted to your goals, whether you want to learn for travel, work, family, conversation, or academic purposes.
My approach combines conversation, grammar, vocabulary, listening, and reading. I believe language learning should be connected to real life, so I enjoy discussing Brazilian culture and using materials such as music, news, films, and literature.
With a B.A. in Translation and an M.A. in Portuguese Literature and more than 15 years of experience as a teacher, translator, and interpreter, I bring both practical language skills and cultural knowledge to my lessons. I can also incorporate Brazilian literature to help students develop their Portuguese while exploring the richness of the language and culture.
