About Tanya

I am a passionate and dedicated Bharatanatyam dancer and instructor with over 6 years of teaching experience. Dance has always been an integral part of my life, and I enjoy sharing this art form with students of all ages and backgrounds.

Having trained and mentored over 500+ students, I believe in creating a positive and encouraging learning environment where students feel confident to express themselves. My experience in stage performances and choreography allows me to guide students not only in learning dance but also in building stage presence and confidence.

I specialize in Indian classical dance form Bharatanatyam, offering a balanced and versatile learning experience. I am committed to helping each student grow at their own pace while developing discipline, creativity, and a genuine love for dance.

About the lesson

I offer personalized Bharatanatyam dance classes for beginners to advanced learners. My teaching focuses on strong fundamentals, expressions (abhinaya), posture, and rhythm, while keeping sessions engaging and enjoyable.

Each class (60–90 minutes) includes warm-up, technique, choreography, and performance training. I adapt my approach based on the student’s age, pace, and goals to ensure confidence and steady progress.

With over 6 years of experience, I have trained over 500+ students across various levels. I specialize in both classical Bharatanatyam and freestyle/Bollywood, helping students develop versatility along with strong basics.

I have stage performance experience and regularly prepare students for stage shows, building confidence and performance skills. I also teach globally through online sessions and have received consistently positive feedback. My classes are suitable for all age groups, whether for hobby learning or professional growth.
