About Swathi
I'm Swathi Krishnakumar, a Bharatanatyam performer, teacher and the founder of Samskruti Institute of Fine Arts, Bangalore. For over two decades, Bharatanatyam has been an integral part of my life, not just as a performing art, but as a way of learning discipline, expression and culture.
I am a CCRT scholarship recipient, a Doordarshan B Grade Artist, and hold a Master's degree in Kuchipudi. I have had the privilege of performing at prestigious festivals and stages across India, while also dedicating myself to teaching students of all ages.

Learn Bharatanatyam through personalised, live online classes rooted in the traditional Thanjavur Bani. I focus on strong fundamentals, individual attention and creating a supportive space where children, adults and returning dancers can grow with confidence. I don't believe in rushing students through the syllabus. I believe in helping them build a strong foundation that stays with them for life.
