About Smriti
Dr. Smriti Vallath (Ph.D) is passionate about justice and rights of animals and humans alike. With over 10 years in the field, Dr. Vallath has focused on working with persons experiencing trauma related disorders. Accordingly, she has trained in variegated trauma focused psychotherapeutic approaches and is a strengths based,collaborative and feedback oriented practitioner, using somatic work, parts work, inner child practices, cognitive-analytical practices and healing narrative exposure techniques for treatment. Her research focuses on discerning various manifestations trauma within other psychopathology, and its implication for mental health treatment and advocacy.
