About Wineandcanvas
I’m a professional artist and art educator with over 30 years of experience creating art and more than 10 years of teaching students of all ages and skill levels. My artistic background spans realism, abstract, expressionism, pop art, Art Deco, surrealism, and traditional techniques, with a particular passion for acrylic painting and creative exploration.
I believe art is more than learning techniques—it’s a way to express yourself, build confidence, and see the world differently. I love helping students discover their own artistic voice in a relaxed, encouraging environment. Whether you’re picking up a paintbrush for the first time or looking to take your skills to the next level, I’m excited to help you bring your ideas to life!

My lessons are designed to make art fun, approachable, and empowering—whether you’re a complete beginner or an experienced artist looking to refine your skills. With over 30 years as an artist and more than 10 years of teaching experience, I bring a diverse background in acrylic painting, realism, abstract art, expressionism, pop art, art deco, surrealism, and mixed media.
I tailor each lesson to your goals, interests, and skill level. We can work step-by-step on painting techniques, color mixing, composition, shading, texture, creative expression, or developing your own artistic style. I believe there is no “wrong” way to create art—my goal is to help you build confidence while discovering what makes your creativity unique.
Whether you want to learn for fun, develop your portfolio, improve your painting skills, or simply explore your creative side, I’ll create a supportive and inspiring environment where you can learn at your own pace. Art sets us free, and I’d love to help you discover what art can do for you!
