About Lal

Hi! I’m Lal, born and raised in Ankara, Turkey. I moved to London when I was 14 years old for high school and university and have been living here since then. So I’m both fluent in English and Turkish and would say my accents in both languages sound like I’ve always lived there my whole life.

I also love learning languages and know very basic French. Which makes it easier for me to teach Turkish as I know what it feels like to be learning a whole new language and know what worked best for me and other people.

I also love sharing my culture and helping people gain a new skill so would love to meet people with the interest of learning Turkish and sharing more about my heritage and language. 🫶

About the lesson

Each lesson will be tailored to your level and goals, we can start by learning new vocabulary as well as grammar rules. But the overall theme of these classes will be to get you to a conversational native level, therefore rely on conversation (as much as possible).

I specialise in pronunciation and accents so I’ll make sure that you have a smooth Turkish accent and pronounce every word correctly to be able to be understood.

Depending on your goals we can either do speaking lessons where you practice speaking or Turkish language lessons.
