About Gandhar
When I was in my 20s, I learned Dhrupad singing in India with Ajay Chakravarty. As one of the few keepers of this most ancient forms of Indian music, I was able to deep-dive into the techniques which I still use today for pitch-perfect accuracy. Since then, I've created various musical projects like Anaconda Con Leche (2020-present) and Far From Shore (2004-2008). As a traveler, I have also been able to bring in many world sounds into my singing from rock, reggae, and other world notes. My music projects are pop, rock, and reggae, but with the right training you should be able to sing anything you want.

Whether you're an experienced singer or just starting out, every vocalist could benefit from Ancient Indian musical techniques. But if you are not familiar with yoga breathing, we'll have to take time to learn that first, before getting into the notes.
