About Simon
I started my career studying at Falmouth College of Art before spending three years assisting Rankin — one of the UK's most iconic fashion photographers. Since then I've built over 25 years shooting campaigns, editorial and celebrity portraits — including Dannii Minogue, Rochelle Humes, Bonnie Wright and Lucy Fallon — with work appearing in Marie Claire, Dazed & Confused and The Times.
In 2017 I launched Hey Girl magazine — now in its eighth year — championing creativity, body positivity and bold visual storytelling.
I bring all of that real-world experience into my teaching. My lessons are friendly and relaxed, built entirely around what you want to achieve creatively. Whether you're picking up Photoshop for the first time or looking to sharpen your Lightroom or InDesign workflow, you're learning from someone who uses these tools at the highest level every single day.
