About Sophie
I am excited by the prospect of teaching and helping students to achieve their full potential. I have previously tutored and mentored students at my previous school. My lessons will be focussed on areas of difficulty and will involve both discussion of the relevant text as well as practice papers and questions.

I am confident teaching English Literature specialising in Macbeth, Frankenstein, An Inspector Calls and Power and Conflict Poetry having achieved an A* in my own GCSE English Literature Paper. Sessions will focus on the major themes and characters of each text whilst lessons on poetry will be spent discussing and annotating the poems, before culminating in practice papers and questions. I am also happy to help with creative writing and essay writing and structuring. I also achieved an A* in my English Language GCSE and as a student currently studying Law, I am used to writing and planning essays. Please get in touch with any questions or queries.
