About Maria
I am currently a law student at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana. I am a learner, reader, writer. I am also an athlete and a Martial Artist; 4 years ago I got a black belt in ITF TaeKwon-Do. Since 2015, as a requirement for a grade promotion in my sport, I have had the opportunity to teach and monitor children from 5 to 15 years old. Currently, I am second dan, by what you understand knowledgeable and instructional assistant.

As a private teacher, I assume the role of guide for the student. In a set of classes I search, through five forms of apprehension of knowledge, according to the facilities and tastes of this (repetition, exemplification, creation of analogies, drawing, mental maps, among others) that with the understanding of concepts and ideas, can develop critical thinking, away from memorization, applicable to different situations. With this, I also seek to convey that learning is very rich and fascinating; the key is in the method and in a guide that makes the process comfortable and fun.
