Eva is an extremely trustworthy and kind, professional teacher. She will teach you at whatever your level paying special attention to what you really need out of your lessons with her. I would recommend her 100% to anyone wanting a really good professional Greek teacher.

When I first contacted Eva, I explained that I not only wanted to be able to speak Greek for travel etc, but also wanted to learn writing and grammar. Not for any examination purposes, (although to the standard as if), but I had no previous knowledge.

Eva has been fantastic. I have been learning with her for over a year now, and will be continuing to do so indefinitely. We have done speaking and learning the language/alphabet/writing/grammar from scratch and she has made me feel so confident.

Why? I now have enough language skills, and not just 'holiday phrases' to be able to speak to people when I travel to Greek speaking countries and they understand me. (Was really useful when I got lost when on one of my travels and ended up in a cafe where they didn't speak any English but were so thrilled that I was speaking Greek as an English person that they kept me there for a whole afternoon, plying me with coffee, talking to me and then took me back to my hotel!)
I have also been able to write 'thank you' notes and other letters in the language and again this has been so gratefully received by the people I gave them to.

This is all thanks to Eva. But not only has she given me this, but she is fantastic as a tutor.

She is flexible. we have done lessons face to face, but then with train strikes when I couldn't get to her, we have done over skype. She is very understanding if I have to cancel or rearrange a lesson at short notice if I have any family etc issues. If I send her homework or messages outside of our lesson times, she always responds very quickly and I am very grateful for this, as it is over and above what she needs to do.

With our lessons, Eva has always taken into account what I have wanted and has been very patient with my mistakes and/or questions and always makes sure I am happy and understand before we move on.

Eva is such a fantastic tutor I would recommend her to anyone, whether they are looking for a quick 'holiday Greek' course, or something more long term like myself. I would be happy to be contacted by anyone if they would like any further information.

I have been learning Greek with Eva since November 2016 and she is very friendly and patient with me being a complete beginner! She has good teaching methods and is able to explain things very well. I have a two hour lesson each week and we get through a lot of material which is taken away after each lesson to study throughout the week. Eva is also flexible as I have my lessons in the evening. I would highly recommend.

I have been taking lessons in Greek from Eva for almost a year. She is always well prepared, understanding and very patient.
