About Murat

I am a linguist and teacher from Germany, currently living in Toronto. I have a Bachelor's degree in Education and a Master's in Linguistics. I have over 4 years of full-time classroom experience in addition to tutoring. Before I moved to Canada, I was teaching German to newcomers in Germany. I am currently continuing my career as a German teacher by giving private German lessons and working at a German school in Ontario.

About the lesson

I am a linguist from Germany who grew up multilingual: German, English and Turkish. I have been a language geek my whole life and as a lifelong language learner, I know both the challenges and the rewards of learning a new language. In my lessons, I don't just focus on grammar and conjugations, but I keep things dynamic with a mix of activities that cover listening, reading, speaking, and writing, because I want you to use the language confidently.
