About Elaine

Hi! My name is Elaine. I’m a Year 12 student at a grammar school with a strong passion for Maths and English. I enjoy explaining concepts clearly and helping students develop a solid understanding of challenging topics. My lessons are tailored to each student’s needs and learning style, and I aim to create a supportive and engaging environment where students feel confident asking questions. I focus on helping students build confidence, strengthen their understanding, and achieve success in KS3 and GCSE Maths and English. I look forward to helping you reach your full potential!

About the lesson

My lessons are tailored to each student’s individual needs, focusing on building understanding, confidence, and long-term success in KS3 and GCSE Maths and English. I achieved A*s in GCSE Maths and English, as well as a strong grade in Further Maths, so I understand what it takes to succeed in these subjects. During lessons, I aim to make challenging concepts clear and easy to understand, using step-by-step explanations, practical examples, and interactive practice questions. I also help students develop exam techniques, problem-solving skills, and confidence, so they feel prepared for any assessment. My teaching style is patient, supportive, and encouraging, and I enjoy creating a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring new topics. Whether it’s strengthening fundamentals or tackling more advanced material, my goal is to help students achieve academic success and confidence in their abilities.
