About Winner
My name is Amankhu Winner. I am a 300 level Linguistics student of the University of Benin, Benin City, Edo State. I am a young female, who is passionate about self development, which comes by learning.
We learn as we teach, and that is one of the reasons why I love to teach. And also trust me to always make whatever I do enjoyable.
Teaching is also a way of sharing your view on a subject matter and thereby leaving an impact on whomever is listening. I am not claiming to be perfect, but there are some virtues I possess, which will make an undeniable impact in the life of those I spend time and share ideas with.
Change is constant. I am ready to go with the flow and take my tutee along. I can't give what I don't have; I therefore need to keep my reading game up, as I also encourage my tutee to do so.
In this whole, never-ending process, I find the 'appointment' in 'disappointment', the good in the bad, and work on it till it's conspicuous and appreciated by more people.

Gone are those days when teaching or receiving lectures was boring. We learn, unlearn and relearn everyday, whether we know it or not. Spicing up our set aside tutoring time is a priority, because it helps for a better tutor - student relationship, better understanding of whatever is taught and confidence to put it into practice when necessary. This way, you would always look forward to attending classes.
Finding and picking the interest of my tutee, a hobby perhaps, and relating it to what I teach is one way we would make learning fun.
Encouraging my tutee to sustain a good reading habit and to practice what he learns, by spelling out the importance of doing so, setting goals and rewards.
The use of slides - pictures, videos, stories and other forms of educational materials for illustration will be used effectively.
