About Marco
Since attending Winstanley College I tutored peers during free study periods as well as tutored younger students with AS Level exams. At university I continued to provide peer-to-peer support and guidance and also returned to college to provide Oxbridge application preparation. I have provided professional private tuition services for the past two years to clients locally and globally (incl. China and Europe). I am proud to have mentored tutees who applied to study Economics at University of Cambridge and successfully secured offers.

Tutoring Approach: I nurture the teaching principles used at Cambridge University: engaging students in a direct, personable manner to help them understand, learn, and master new concepts. I break down barriers students face in their understanding of core concepts. I empathise with students to tackle problems in a step-by-step manner, and use my expertise to provide the necessary insight and guidance. I aim for my students to master the material at hand and I ensure their understanding is sufficient such that they can independently and competently tackle new and varied problems. Motivation: Since a young age I always enjoyed working and collaborating with peers during my studies. I find I understand the barriers individuals face when learning new concepts or working through problem sets. I enjoy providing guidance and thought-provoking suggestions to help break down problems at hand. Being engaging, respectful and adaptable to each person, I aim to nurture these principles when providing tuition to each student. Background: - 5 A*s at A Level (including 99.7% in Mathematics) - Graduate in Economics at King's College, University of Cambridge (2018) - Worked at Morgan Stanley for seven months before taking a break to travel - I offer private tuition for A-Level and Undergraduate Economics as well as mentor students applying to study Economics at Oxbridge

Marco is a great maths tutor as he can gauge your level quickly and explain things in a way that suit you as an individual. He wants to get the best results from you and doesn't let you leave a session without having learned what you set out to. Definitely recommend.
