About Akash

Hi, I'm Akash, a Trinity Grade 6 certified keyboardist with over two years of teaching experience and experience performing live on stage. I teach Western keyboard and piano to children aged 5+, teenagers and adults, including complete beginners.

I work with students in India and abroad through personalised online lessons in English and Tamil. My approach is patient, practical and structured: I break each skill into manageable steps and help you build confidence at your own pace.

Whether you are starting from scratch, returning to music or helping your child discover an instrument, my aim is to make learning enjoyable while building a strong foundation in technique, rhythm, chords and musical understanding.

About the lesson

Learn keyboard or piano from the comfort of your home through personalised, one-to-one online lessons in English or Tamil. Children aged 5+, teenagers and adults are welcome, and no previous musical knowledge is needed to begin.

Lessons are adapted to your age, experience and goals. We work on keyboard familiarity, posture and finger technique, rhythm, reading notes, scales, chords and playing with both hands. Simple melodies and songs you enjoy help you put each new skill into practice.

A typical class includes a short warm-up, a review of your practice, a new skill or song section, and clear guidance on what to practise before the next lesson. I explain patiently, demonstrate step by step and give feedback as you play.

You will need a keyboard or piano at home, a stable internet connection, and a phone, tablet or computer positioned so I can see your hands and keys. Regular practice between lessons will help you make steady progress.

Students in India and abroad are welcome. Message me with your learning goals, time zone and preferred timings so we can arrange a suitable slot. Book a free first class to get started!
