About Nadine
Hi! I’m a second-year Music student at King’s College London with a strong background in languages. I’m Italian and grew up in England, and throughout primary school I attended an international school where half of my week was taught in French and the other half in English. Although I’m not a native French speaker, I am very fluent and have been learning and using the language from a young age.
Academically, I achieved a Grade 9 in GCSE French and later received a 7 in Higher Level French in the International Baccalaureate. I also spent four months volunteering in Chile, where I learnt Spanish and gained even more experience communicating across different languages and cultures.
I’m friendly, patient and reliable, and I want students to feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and building their confidence. Having studied French both through immersion and through GCSE and IB, I can help students improve their everyday fluency while also understanding the specific demands of school exams.

Growing up, I always found myself improving when my teacher was kind and talkative. Therefore, my approach is friendly, patient and tailored to each student. I like to first understand what they are confident with and where they need the most help, then structure lessons around those areas. I use a mix of conversation, grammar, vocabulary, reading and exam-style questions, with a strong focus on building confidence when speaking.
Lessons would typically last around 60 minutes, although I can adapt this depending on the student.
I achieved a Grade 9 in GCSE French and a 7 in IB Higher Level French, and I am currently a second-year Music student at King’s College London. My lessons are mainly aimed at KS3, GCSE and IB students who want extra support, exam preparation or simply to become more confident in French.
