Julie is an excellent academic advisor. She is patient and to the point. She helps me organize my time and my tasks in a consistent, efficient yet comfortable manner, helping me work around any obstacles in my way, and work in free time where needed. She's also open to conversation, and she has been flexible whenever needed. It's excellent to have her as a helping hand!
Julie is my academic skills coach, whom I was connected with through my university. Julie has been incredibly helpful in organizing my time and keeping me on track to do well in my studies. She has done wonders for my academic confidence and planning. I appreciate that Julie takes the time to get to know and understand me, as well as that she takes into consideration mental health and thus makes realistic schedules. I am happy to recommend Julie as an academic skills coach.
I've been working with Julie as my ADHD coach for almost two years, and her support has made a meaningful difference in my academic organization and confidence. Her style is calm, structured, and clear, which makes it easy for me to stay focused and grounded during our sessions. Julie has helped me break down overwhelming tasks into manageable steps, plan realistic timelines, and build working habits that continue to support me in the long run. I especially appreciate her guidance in helping me set boundaries which is something that used to be a major challenge for me. Julie brings both expertise and concrete, practical strategies to her work. I recommend Julie to anyone looking for a thoughtful, knowledgeable, and effective ADHD coach.
My son has ADHD, high-functioning ASD, and is attending UofT for mathematics and physical science. Julie has been working with him for about a year. His executive functioning is very low, struggles socially, and has difficulty regulating his emotions. Julie is patient and compassionate and has been helping him build some healthier habits so that he can handle his school load and at the same time an exercise routine that I am certain he is proud of. She also encourages him to reach out to people so that he has some social interactions. He managed to pass his physics midterm this past summer with a 90+ grade despite his procrastinating nature to boost his mark and ended with a 79 final grade. Highly recommend Julie for those in need of some guidance and support with with ADHD.
A psychologist that assessed my children recommended Julie. She has been working with one of my children for two years and with the other one for a year. The sessions helped them tremendously to develop study skills, manage time, and ask questions—everything that ASD kids cannot do naturally. Before Julie, I had to check their classes and make sure the work was done, and it wasn't helpful. I definitely recommend Julie!
