I graduated from the Juilliard School and l am currently serving as a violinist at the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra. The lesson usually lasts about an hour, and I will be responsible for giving comments each day and evaluate the student's practicing.

Daniel​ ​Guangnan​ ​Yue​ ​was​ ​born​ ​in​ ​a​ ​coal​ ​mine​ ​city​ ​of​ ​Datong,​ ​China,​ ​and​ ​began​ ​playing the​ ​violin​ ​before​ ​the​ ​age​ ​of​ ​three.​ ​Although​ ​his​ ​violin​ ​studies​ ​were​ ​interrupted​ ​for​ ​several​ ​years, but​ ​his​ ​talent​ ​was​ ​finally​ ​discovered.​ ​By​ ​age​ ​ten,​ ​Daniel​ ​was​ ​selected​ ​into​ ​the​ ​Central Conservatory​ ​of​ ​Music​ ​in​ ​Beijing​ ​with​ ​the​ ​highest​ ​ranking.​ ​After​ ​winning​ ​the​ ​first​ ​place​ ​in​ ​the entrance​ ​exam​ ​for​ ​the​ ​upper​ ​school​ ​division​ ​in​ ​2006,​ ​he​ ​studied​ ​for​ ​four​ ​years​ ​in​ ​the​ ​studio​ ​of Weidong​ ​Tong.​ ​At​ ​age​ ​of​ ​13,​ ​Daniel​ ​was​ ​selected​ ​to​ ​play​ ​a​ ​concert​ ​with​ ​the​ ​Moscow​ ​Symphony Orchestra​ ​as​ ​the​ ​representative​ ​to​ ​the​ ​China-Russia​ ​relationship​ ​on​ ​behalf​ ​of​ ​the​ ​government​ ​in 2006.​ ​He​ ​received​ ​an​ ​honorable​ ​prize​ ​in​ ​the​ ​Eighth​ ​National​ ​Youth​ ​Violin​ ​Competition​ ​in Qingdao,​ ​China.​ ​In​ ​2007,​ ​he​ ​was​ ​selected​ ​to​ ​study​ ​at​ ​the​ ​Morningside​ ​Music​ ​Bridge​ ​on​ ​full scholarship​ ​in​ ​Calgary,​ ​Canada.​ ​The​ ​following​ ​year,​ ​he​ ​appeared​ ​in​ ​concert​ ​with​ ​the​ ​China National​ ​Symphony​ ​Orchestra,​ ​and​ ​attended​ ​the​ ​Great​ ​Wall​ ​International​ ​Music​ ​Academy Summer​ ​Camp​ ​on​ ​full​ ​scholarship.​ ​The​ ​biggest​ ​achievement​ ​for​ ​him​ ​in​ ​2008​ ​was​ ​the​ ​Silver Prize​ ​of​ ​the​ ​2008​ ​China​ ​Central​ ​Television​ ​Piano​ ​&​ ​Violin​ ​Competition.​ ​In​ ​school,​ ​Daniel​ ​then went​ ​on​ ​to​ ​serve​ ​as​ ​concertmaster​ ​of​ ​the​ ​Chinese​ ​Juvenile​ ​Symphony​ ​Orchestra.​ ​Beginning​ ​in 2009.​ ​During​ ​this​ ​time​ ​period,​ ​he​ ​successively​ ​attended​ ​Lipinski-Wieniawski​ ​International Competition​ ​in​ ​Poland,​ ​and​ ​the​ ​Sixth​ ​International​ ​Tchaikovsky​ ​Competition​ ​for​ ​Young Musicians​ ​in​ ​South​ ​Korea.​ ​He​ ​was​ ​also​ ​honored​ ​with​ ​a​ ​full​ ​scholarship​ ​to​ ​the​ ​Meadowmount School​ ​of​ ​Music.
In​ ​April​ ​2010,​ ​Daniel​ ​was​ ​selected​ ​for​ ​a​ ​private​ ​master​ ​lesson​ ​with​ ​prodigious​ ​maestro Anne​ ​Sophie​ ​Mutter​ ​in​ ​Shanghai.​ ​Shortly​ ​thereafter,​ ​Daniel​ ​was​ ​selected​ ​by​ ​The​ ​Juilliard School’s​ ​Pre-College​ ​Division,​ ​to​ ​study​ ​under​ ​full​ ​scholarship​ ​in​ ​the​ ​studio​ ​of​ ​Lewis​ ​Kaplan. Each​ ​year​ ​since,​ ​he​ ​spent​ ​his​ ​summers​ ​at​ ​the​ ​Bowdoin​ ​International​ ​Music​ ​Festival​ ​in Brunswick​ ​(3​ ​times),​ ​Maine,​ ​​Conservatoire​ ​Américain​ ​de​ ​Fontainebleau​ ​in​ ​France​ ​(twice)​ ​and Portland​ ​Bach​ ​Music​ ​Festival,​ ​​all​ ​on​ ​full​ ​scholarships.​ ​He​ ​played​ ​at​ ​the​ ​Carnegie​ ​Hall​ ​in​ ​2013 after​ ​winning​ ​the​ ​KBS​ ​New​ ​York​ ​International​ ​Violin​ ​Competition,​ ​and​ ​the​ ​Yokohama​ ​Chamber Orchestra​ ​in​ ​Japan​ ​while​ ​attending​ ​the​ ​Sendai​ ​International​ ​Music​ ​Competition.​ ​In​ ​2014,​ ​the year​ ​he​ ​got​ ​into​ ​The​ ​Juilliard​ ​School,​ ​he​ ​was​ ​invited​ ​by​ ​the​ ​Christie’s​ ​Auction​ ​House​ ​to​ ​present the​ ​1731​ ​Kreutzer​ ​Stradivarius​ ​violin​ ​and​ ​played​ ​it​ ​at​ ​the​ ​auction​ ​party.​ ​Recently,​ ​he​ ​appeared​ ​in numerous​ ​concerts​ ​in​ ​China,​ ​and​ ​was​ ​invited​ ​by​ ​the​ ​Hong​ ​Kong​ ​International​ ​Music​ ​Festival​ ​to serve​ ​as​ ​a​ ​faculty​ ​and​ ​jury​ ​member​ ​in​ ​both​ ​of​ ​the​ ​festival’s​ ​music​ ​camp​ ​and​ ​competition.
