About Kia

With 18 years of professional teaching experience, I am a passionate Flute tutor working with High School students, College students, and adults. Over the 18 years, I have guided nearly 300 students in their flute learning journey with steady and positive results.

My teaching style is simple, structured, and student-friendly. I believe learning music should never feel stressful. I always try to make lessons clear, comfortable, and enjoyable for every student. I give importance to both technical skills and musical expression.

My lessons include proper breathing control, correct hand and finger position, tone clarity, rhythm practice, scale exercises, and note reading. I also guide students in playing different types of music pieces based on their interest and level. For advanced learners, I focus on speed, accuracy, and stage performance skills.

Several of my students have successfully performed in school functions, college festivals, and cultural events. Some students have also completed graded flute exams with good scores.

I encourage regular practice with simple and effective practice routines. My goal is not only to make students good flute players but also confident and disciplined individuals who enjoy their musical journey.

About the lesson

My teaching philosophy for flute is built on Motivation, Communication, Integrity, and Creativity. I create a positive learning environment where students feel confident and supported.

Motivation helps students develop interest and commitment. I guide students patiently and encourage steady improvement.

Communication allows me to explain every lesson clearly. I train students in breathing methods, tone development, finger technique, rhythm, and coordination.

Integrity ensures proper learning. I teach students to practice with discipline and respect the learning process.

Creativity helps students enjoy music beyond notes. I include improvisation, musical expression, and performance readiness. Along with flute, I teach basic theory, sight reading, ear training, and rhythm exercises.
