About Mikhaela
I'm Brazilian but lived for the last 20 years in Portugal, so I'm fluent in both BR and PT Portuguese. I graduated in journalism and for the last 5 years, I've been working as a journalist, copywriter and also as a translator.

I teach Portuguese from Brazil and Portugal.
My methodology involves a lot of conversation and it adapts to the students' needs.
I believe the starting point should be the students' choosing and from there we practice through conversations, examples, explanations of rules, etc. But, for beginners, I provide a starting point grounded in day-to-day life, practical and useful topics.
I save time for practice writing and reading comprehension.
