About Jonathan
Jonny is a 26 year old student undergoing his MSc in Music. A multi-instrumentalist (primarily guitarist), a songwriter, and a producer. Ten years experience in the industry, toured in Europe, played in numerous bands, and has released songs with over half a million streams on just Spotify alone. He has played with bands such as Catfish and the Bottlemen, Noel Gallaghers High Flying Birds, Lewis Capaldi and Stereophonics - to name a few.
He is a passionate musician keen to transfer his skills over to anyone wanting to learn the guitar, singing or songwriting.
A very friendly guy with patience and a lot of drive. His methods of teaching is tailored towards the songs you love - any ability, any style.

His teaching method starts with a free 30 minute consultation so he can tailor a plan to the style that his students love. He requires a list of 5 - 10 songs of his students favourite songs, ranks them easy to hard, and creates a plan to achieve them.
He also offers a method that he calls the "Iceberg method", which comes after a student has learnt a song. The "iceberg method" educates a student on the chords within the song, why they go well together, and what other chords and scales can be applied to the original song to offer a better understanding of the guitar, not just the song itself. This is a very unique way of teaching guitar and accelerates students' progression significantly.
