A Chess Instructor is responsible for advising and overseeing the activities of the chess team. Essential duties are listed on the Chess Instructor Resume as – developing opportunities for all students interested in the game of chess, creating criteria for selection of students who will compete in conference competition, supervising the chess team activities, determining role and selection of team leaders, establishing team goals and plan for chess preparation and competition; promoting and monitoring the goals; planning and coordinating all team practices and competitions, and encouraging students to be inspired.
