About Karen

I am a Visual Artist and Dress Designer and although I attended Art School, over the past 30 years I have self-taught, re-taught, re-learned, and refined my craft to be authentically my own.

I believe that every artist has their own unique style and I work to bring your authenticity and unique creativity to life while giving you the technical skills required to produce professional work.

My style of tutoring is relaxed and comfortable and my aim is to assist you or your child in creating works of art that showcase your personal style.

About the lesson

Although I tutor formal disciplines such as shading, perspective, and form, I believe art students should be encouraged to let go of their limiting beliefs & have the freedom to create authentic, unique pieces of work.
My classes are taught in English and are aimed at assisting student artists in developing their own style.

I tutor all levels and ages encouraging students to see the genius in themselves and giving them permission to step into it.
