About Elí
I am a Jazz Instrument Technician, graduated from COMEM (Conservatory of Music of the State of Mexico) in 2018. I have dedicated myself to music for most of my life, in recent years I have dedicated to jazz specifically; both playing and giving private lessons in this regard. Since 2015 I participate in the Trio of Jazz Manouche (Gypsy Jazz) Caravana Informal of which I am co-founder, a group with which I have dedicated myself to promoting style in the city of Toluca, its surroundings and other states of the Republic. In recent years I have dedicated a rigorous study in the style of Django Reinhardt, today known as Gypsy Jazz. And to the improvisation methodology, always looking for a voice of my own within the jazz language. Today I continue to prepare myself in jazz studying with private teachers and in a self-taught way.

I offer in my classes my study methodologies, teaching material and the availability to discuss the issues in question even outside of class. I intend to teach my students to be integral musicians, with a deep level of understanding of what is being done while playing. The topics I deal with have an order, as well as a series of steps that are put to the test in practical exercises, which aim to strengthen the mastery of theoretical concepts and their musical use.
