About Brittany
Spending 13 years as a teacher has shown me that every person hears music differently. I must admit that I sometimes prefer the raw honesty of a beginner playing their first chord over a polished recital. My own path includes a BM from Boston Conservatory at Berklee and 13 years of musical theater performance.
Accompaniment became a natural part of my life as a vocalist, which eventually turned into a deep passion for piano. I have worked with 371 students who wanted to understand the keys. Music theory and ear training are my favorite tools for helping you play by ear.
Jazz improvisation and pop styles are also on the menu. The variety keeps my own creative fire alive while I sit at the bench daily.

Struggling with hand independence is a common hurdle for many of my students. Imagine the sound of your left and right hands finally working together to create a seamless melody.
Before we start, I provide a diagnostic playing assessment to determine your exact entry point. This helps me set a learning plan that actually makes sense for your goals. My BM degree from Boston Conservatory at Berklee informs how I teach posture, hand position, and dynamics. We move through music with clarity.
Whether you are an absolute beginner or a performance focused student, we keep things practical. My 13 years of experience ensures that every session remains grounded in solid technique.
