About Hiroko
A graduate of the University of Tokyo (Todai), with a PhD in neuroscience, and a researcher at the Pasteur Institute and INSERM for 15 years, I also hold a diploma from the Japanese Institute in Paris's 2nd arrondissement. In addition, I am a certified mindfulness meditation instructor. With this diverse background, I teach not only the Japanese language but also Japanese culture in all its facets, adapting my approach to each student's needs. Do you want to improve your Japanese skills? I offer advanced Japanese lessons (1 hour per week). Whether you want to improve your listening comprehension, practice everyday conversation, or deepen your reading and writing skills in Japanese, I'm here to help. Course content: • Conversation: Practice conversation to improve your fluency and listening comprehension. • Reading and Writing: Strengthen your vocabulary and work on sentence structure to express yourself more effectively in Japanese. I adapt to each student's needs, and we will create a personalized course together. Lessons are offered via videoconference or in person, depending on your preference. In-person sessions take place near Vincennes or Fontenay-sous-Bois. Interested in my lessons? Contact me for more information! Lessons are €50 per hour. You can also contact me if you need a short translation done (name, choice of kanji - Chinese characters -, phrase for a tattoo, etc.). I look forward to meeting you! Thank you.
