About Sean
I spent several years teaching Japanese and have helped students progress from beginner levels up to JLPT N2. I enjoy making lessons practical, engaging, and focused on helping students actually use Japanese in real conversations.
My teaching style has helped a lot of my students reach Japan sooner than expected. Most Japanese language schools will expect you to be able to reach JLPT N3 within a year or a year and a half when you enroll in their course. My program is designed specifically to fast track it to a 6-Month Program (Pre-JLPT-> N3). I’ve taught a good amount of students to confidently say that it’s achievable. Granted your own effort and time on your own also plays a factor, but with my full support it’s possible to get it done.

My name is Sean, and I’m a Japanese language instructor.
I started studying Japanese at Nihongo Center Kyoto, where I completed the program in one year and achieved JLPT N3 within my first six months. I moved to Nagoya to continue my education and studied art and design at Nagoya Design & Technology. I ended up living in Japan for about five years, which gave me the chance to fully immerse myself in the language and culture.
