About Camilo Andrés

I study anthropology at the Universidad del Rosario. I am a grant from the government of Colombia to study my career due to my high score in the ICFES state tests. As for Japanese, I accumulate more than 3 years of certified study with native teachers at the Asian Language Center (advanced level 2). And more than 2 years of self-study for a total of 5 years. I am a fan of Japanese culture and language. I actively participate in events related to scholarships and studies in Japan and otaku culture issues in Colombia and some internationally. I consume Japanese entertainment on a regular basis and keep up with it on a regular basis.

About the lesson

Classes are held at the beginning of each week (times, dates and prices) and it remains on time to meet in a Zoom, Skype, Meets or Discord room. The Minna no nihongo will be used as the main class manual. To which other books and resources will be added throughout the process. Audios, applications, web pages and even anime or manga are some of the materials thought. The class will begin with a grammar review component where we will introduce the new concepts according to the Minna no nihongo chapter as vocabulary or new structures. Later, in the other half of the class there will be an oral component which will be used not only to practice non-written communication skills but to reinforce what was learned in the first segment. In addition to class time, all students have my free time to contact me and let me know their questions. I can also incorporate homework to make the process more effective if the student so wishes; If necessary, they will be works related only to processes that require practice and repetition or memorization. I rarely leave theoretical topics to see outside of class. There is also availability to organize extra-class meetings with students at no cost to talk about Asian culture, study opportunities in Japan, anime, manga or meet each other and me.
