There are many different ways to start swimming depending on what’s stopping the person from getting in the water. Is it lack of knowledge on how the body works underwater? Is the person afraid? All of this can be fixed but not with the same approach. I take my time to know the person and build a programme or a single class (depending on what level you currently have) that can allow them to move freely while swimming.
