Irish Musician teaches Traditional Irish Music on the Tin Whistle. This class is suitable for complete beginners of all ages. Classes are provided online and in person.

About David
I am a 25 year old professional musician and music producer working in Dublin. I am currently studying for a Masters degree in Music Composition. I work in a number of musical genres but, traditional Irish music has a special place in my heart. I wish to pass this music on to whoever is interested.

With 15 years of playing experience and 3 years of teaching experience I provide a holistic approach to learning traditional Irish music. After mastering the basics of the whistle, learning will be done through doing. You will learn loads of tunes in lots of different styles like Jigs, Reels, Hornpipes and Slow Airs (maybe even a Polka or two!). You will also learn to develop your ear for Irish music and hopefully feel comfortable enough to begin learning tunes just from listening. For any non Irish students I will also speak about Irish culture and history throughout the lessons to help connect you to the music.
