About Ewan

I’m Ewan, a 21-year-old Irish law student currently on Erasmus in Germany. I achieved a H1 (A+) in Leaving Certificate English — the highest possible grade — and I’ve always had a passion for writing, analysis, and communication. During the Leaving Cert, I focused on areas like comparative essay writing, poetry analysis, comprehensions, and short story composition. I know what the examiners are looking for, and I’m here to help you approach English with clarity and confidence — whether it’s polishing your essays or unlocking the rhythm of a poem. Alongside exam-focused work, I also offer English speaking lessons for non-native speakers who want to improve fluency, pronunciation, or everyday conversation skills. My lessons are relaxed, practical, and completely tailored to you — no need to plan in advance; we’ll tackle whatever you’re struggling with on the spot. Outside of tutoring, I’m currently training for a half marathon with my friends, I go to the gym, play football, and love attending music festivals. I bring that same energy and balance into my teaching — supportive, focused, and encouraging every step of the way.

Hi! I’m Ewan — an Irish law student currently on Erasmus in Germany. I offer online English tutoring via Zoom or Microsoft Teams, and I’m here to help you grow your confidence in both written and spoken English. In 2022, I achieved the highest possible grade (A+ / “H1”) in English in Ireland’s national school exams (the Leaving Certificate). This covered everything from poetry analysis and comparative writing to short stories and reading comprehension — so I can definitely help with school-style English lessons or assignments.
