About Sunia
Singer, composer, "songwriter", actress, dancer and model. Singing student in the field of Jazz and modern music, with extensive experience in the world of music and performing arts. Trained in performing arts at ESADIB (Higher School of Performing Arts of the Balearic Islands), at The Songwriting Academy and Young Music Makers in London, UK. Studies at Brockwood Park School, United Kingdom, in English and Spanish language and literature with a specialization in analysis of poetry and prose writing techniques, and their development and application. Currently training at the Taller de Músics in Barcelona.
Trained by singer Sheela Gathright from The Bronx, New York, in vocal technique, improvisation and development of personal style through African rhythms, Soul, Jazz, Blues, etc.
Trained at the prestigious Bossov Ballet Theater ballet school in Maine, USA with the teacher Natalya Getman and also by the dancer Laura Macías. Participation as an actress in more than 20 theater productions, as well as in the soundtrack composition. Knowledge of piano, guitar, bass and violin instruments, as well as a member of a Gamelan orchestra, Indonesian traditional music, for many years.

These classes are aimed at all types of profiles: it is only essential to have an interest in learning and improving!
Also applicable for those who play an instrument and want to learn more about songwriting. Applicable for profiles that want to start from scratch with this skill.
The classes are focused through a personalized design for the student based on a global and complete vision of your abilities and skills, your experience and level, your objectives and your needs and interests. Starting from some basic knowledge, we develop a plan where you work on the aspects that you decide.
Some content available in Introduction to singing, songwriting:
- General and basic knowledge of your instrument.
- Vocal technique, improvisation, originality, creativity, etc.
- Development of your musicality.
- Composition and creation of melodic forms and rhythms.
- Development of ideas and how to turn them into songs.
- Methods and strategies such as SCOPE to structure and develop the songs (lyrics, chosen vocabulary, environment, message, sound, etc.)
- Forms of expression, interpretation of your songs and/or of other authors.
- Other important branches: harmony, sight reading, music business, history, styles...
And this is just the tip of the iceberg... ;)
