About Violet
With 17 years of experience, I teach piano to high school students, college students, and adults. I have successfully taught around 300 students, helping them grow in skill, musical understanding, and confidence.
My teaching philosophy focuses on patience, clear instruction, and motivation. I believe each student learns differently, so I personalize lessons to match their goals and learning style. My approach makes learning piano both structured and enjoyable.
In my lessons, I focus on posture, finger technique, rhythm, sight-reading, and music theory. I also encourage students to develop musical expression and confidence while performing. Real-life musical examples and familiar songs make lessons engaging and practical.
A key achievement is helping students progress steadily from beginner to confident performer levels. Many have developed discipline, skill, and a love for piano through consistent practice.
My goal is to provide a positive and encouraging environment where students feel supported and inspired. I aim to help every student enjoy piano and achieve their musical goals.

My teaching approach for piano is student-focused and practical. I believe strong communication helps students understand music clearly. I adapt lessons to match each student’s learning style, age, and musical interest, creating a positive learning environment.
I include real-life examples such as popular songs, exam pieces, and performance situations to show how piano techniques are used in real settings. Demonstrations and guided practice help students develop confidence and control.
Along with piano playing, I teach music theory, harmony, rhythm patterns, sight reading, ear training, and basic accompaniment skills. Students also learn effective practice planning and hand coordination. My goal is to help students build confidence and enjoy expressing themselves through piano.
