About Hilda
As a concert pianist who's made it to and through Yale and Juilliard, I know what it takes to play at the highest levels. I believe that it takes a supportive teacher who is experienced, encouraging, and skilled. I've taught piano and musicianship for over 6 years, running my own class at Cheshire Academy in CT, USA and teaching workshops at the SF conservatory of music, tonebasePiano, and the Juilliard School. In my doctorate at Juilliard, I have a special focus on musicianship and pedagogy. I believe fun, trust, and building artistry are the most important things for any piano student to contextualize piano playing in one's life.
