About Asfand

Hi,

I am a FIDE ( World Chess Federation ) recognized player. I have experience teaching in more than 5 schools in Melbourne. I have been playing chess since I was a child. I have experience of playing many tournaments in different parts of the world. I am a friendly person and love to teach kids. However, I am open to teaching people of all ages who are looking to learn chess or improve their game. I hold a Working with Children Check.

I secured 15th position out of 115 players in my recent international tournament. Please get in touch with me to discuss your chess needs.

About the lesson

I am a friendly person who makes learning fun. I have some baseline teaching methods which I alter according to the capabilities of the learner. I keep a progress report and mark the areas which the learner needs to improve.
