About Leanne

I studied for 7 years after school and have proudly achieved two degrees: BA in Psychology & Communications as well as a B-Ed in Math & Science.

I spent my first two years after university teaching at a private school for children with learning challenges and disabilities. Thereafter I filled the position as a Grade 6 teacher at a public school. During my time here I became the Grade Head of Grade 6 for 3 years and the Head of English for 7 years.

I am a reliable, passionate, and creative educator who will go the extra mile for my learners.

About the lesson

I am passionate about teaching English. I have a love for reading and most of my lessons are inspired in one way or another by popular children's books and stories. I like to add a touch of creativity to each of my lessons and strive to make English an exciting subject to learn. I cover all aspects of English in my extra classes, namely oral and public speaking skills, listening skills, reading and comprehending, writing skills as well as grammar, punctuation, and spelling practice.

I offer a discounted price of R 150 (30 minutes free of charge) for your child's first session with me.

I also offer termly packages. Currently, I offer packages of 11 sessions (1 hour per week) or 22 sessions (2 hours per week).

The rates for these are as follows:
10 sessions + 1 session free of charge - R 3000
21 sessions + 1 session free of charge - R 5100
