About George
I study Computer Science at King's College London. I have represented U17 England Chess internationally across tournaments in 6 countries across Europe. I teach Chess in primary schools and have taught clients of all ages over webcam. I would love to be your tutor to spread the joys of chess.

I believe that each student learns differently, and chess is no exception. Therefore, the first trial lesson is for me to learn about your chess, to tailor each lesson to your learning style. This makes each lesson effective, interactive, and personal. Chess can be difficult and mind-boggling, but it is also incredibly enjoyable - so I aim to focus my lessons on the true joys that chess has to offer.

George was my daughter’s GCSE physics tutor for a year leading into her exams, and she went from a grade 5 to 9 with his excellent teaching. It was her least confident subject throughout school, but he inspired a passion for it through his innovative, encouraging and extensive support.
