About Anna
As a piano tutor with 14 years of experience in teaching and professional work, I am deeply committed to music education and student growth. I teach piano to school and college students, helping them develop technical skills, musical understanding, and confidence. Music has always been a strong part of my life, and teaching allows me to share that passion with others. Over the years, I have achieved important milestones by helping students move from basic lessons to confident performances. I focus on proper technique, music reading, rhythm, and expression. I believe that a strong foundation is essential for long-term success in piano learning. My teaching approach is encouraging, structured, and flexible. I understand that students have different goals—some want to learn piano as a hobby, while others aim for higher-level mastery. I customise lessons to match each student’s needs and pace, making learning enjoyable and effective. My professional experience has shaped my teaching philosophy, combining discipline with creativity. I aim to create a supportive learning environment where students feel motivated to practice and improve. My piano teaching methodology is based on motivation, communication, integrity, and creativity. I believe learning piano should build confidence, musical skills, and self-expression. I adapt my lessons to suit each student’s learning needs and goals. Motivation is encouraged by creating a friendly and supportive environment. I help students set realistic goals and guide them step by step. Progress is measured carefully so students stay encouraged and focused on improvement. Clear communication helps students understand piano concepts easily. I explain techniques in simple terms and use demonstrations to improve clarity. I provide regular feedback and ensure students feel comfortable sharing their challenges. Integrity is an important value in my teaching. I focus on strong fundamentals such as posture, finger movement, rhythm control, and musical accuracy. I encourage discipline, consistency, and respect for music learning. Creativity is developed by allowing students to explore expression, dynamics, and personal style. I include different music genres and encourage creative thinking. Along with piano, I teach music theory, scales, chords, rhythm exercises, sight-reading, and basic composition skills.
