I design my classes based on the need and objective of the participant(s).
My approach is to usually understand first the expectations - Why are you investing a precious hour (or several) of your life into doing this session? Are there any specific questions that can be quickly answered? Are you looking for tailored advice?
Once those bases are covered, the rest becomes easy - both for myself and for the participant(s).
Also: I typically avoid making sessions more than 45 minutes long, unless there are breaks in between.
One continuous hour is usually my hard stop. I want you to be actually able to take away what I deliver. Overloading people's brains wastes my time and Participants' money.
